Precision Water Softener Module (35,000 grain capacity) features the newest technology in control valve demand metering system that self programs to actual water use for economical operation. By monitoring the amount of treated water used daily, this system regenerates only when necessary to supply continuous treated water with substantial salt and water savings. You will appreciate the oversized brine tank that easily holds 150 lbs of salt pellets or those 50 lb salt blocks (without crushing your hands). Safety overflow fitting, automatic bypass during regeneration, and operation on less than $2.00 a year of electricity (based on $0.67 per kilowatt hour) makes this a true performer. Comes standard with 3/4" copper sweat fittings.
This system also features the Cyclonic Distributor System™ providing higher flow rates, less pressure loss, improved treatment capacity, product flexibility, and water conservation.
Spectrum 10 Supercat Plus Chemical/Bacteria UV Treatment Module will remove, or significantly reduce, over 50 carcinogenic chemicals listed by the EPA (see below), and also disinfects the entire home's water supply against harmful pathogenic bacteria such as E. Coli, baccilary dysentary, typhoid, cholera, and others. It is capable of actually filtering hundreds of gallons per day. It will treat all the water for every sink, faucet, shower, and bath tub throughout your home. Comes standard with 3/4" union fittings. Spectrum 10 Plus™ delivers a minimum of 30,000 microwatt seconds/cm² at 10 gpm
The disposable, clear chlorine pellet chamber attaches quickly with union connectors. The clear chamber provides visual access to monitor the release of the chlorine tablets. When the tablets have dissolved, the disposable clear chamber is simply removed and replaced with the included Schedule 80 PVC pipe. The Chlorastick system makes repeat sanitation easy too. Most UV systems require annual servicing for bulb replacement. Whenever it’s time to change a UV lamp or service a unit, the pipes can again be quickly and efficiently re-sanitized just by dropping in a replacement chlorine module. This module has 3/4" port size. How the System Works: After water passes through the Prefilter Module it enters the Precision Water Softener Module. Stage 1: This fully automatic demand regeneration water conditioner not only softens the water, but also removes lead, iron, and radium. Water now enters the Spectrum 10 Supercat Plus Chemical/Bacteria UV Treatment Module. Stage 2: The water passes through a compacted bed of SuperCat™ catalytic carbon. This removes or reduces unpleasant taste and odors, and also chlorine, pesticides, THM's, PDB's, and other common chemicals that have been found in water supplies and have been defined as carcinogenic by the EPA. Stage 3: The water exits through a stainless steel disinfecting chamber which bombards bacteria, viruses, and harmful microorganisms with high levels of germicidal ultraviolet light and renders them harmless.This process of purification works without chemicals and leaves no residual in the water. Ultraviolet irradiation is now accepted by both the EPA and the FDA as a safe, effective method of sterilization. Soft n' Pure™ Ultra Systems represent the newest in complete whole house residential water treatment systems. There isn't a more comprehensive way to treat every water outlet in the house for softening, de-chlorination, taste, odor, chemical and microbiological contaminants. This single treatment system utilizes ProSoft™ Resins, SuperCat™ Carbons and a Spectrum Biolyte™ Series UV Chamber - all configured with the newest in computer monitoring technology for maximized efficiency. It is designed for 1 - 4 person(s) homes with 3/4" water lines.
Prefilter Module mechanically removes contaminants from the water by utilizing a dual-gradient spun polypropylene filter cartridge. After water passes through this module, it enters the Precision Water Softener and Spectrum 10 Plus Chemical/Bacteria Treatment Modules. This is a BIG filter housing, not one of the "skinny" units that is designed to work for a single faucet. It takes 4 1/2 " diameter x 10" tall cartridges that are easy to change. 3/4" port size is standard. 
Chlorastick Pipe Sanitizing Module This quick release pipe sanitizer is installed directly inline with the pipes for easy installation and reuse. To get rid of downstream contamination, it is recommended that the water pipes be sanitized before installing a UV system.
